ghYTH - What is Youth Ministry all about? Is it silly games? Perhaps a lock-in once in a while? Maybe it’s just a safe place to come and hang out with your friends? While those are the things we do in Youth Ministry, those aren’t the things that Youth Ministry is about. Youth Ministry isn’t even about Youth, actually. It’s about Jesus, his love for us, and our response to that love.

 

Our goal at Greenwood Hills is to challenge middle and high school students to take responsibility for their faith. Perhaps a better way to say it is Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a [youth] in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.” (NKJV)

FOLLOW US @

  • Youth Group - Wednesdays at 7pm; Doors open at 6:30pm
  • Wednesday nights look like a “typical” youth group night. We play games, we sing songs, we learn about Jesus.

 

  • Small Group - Sunday Mornings from 9am-10am
  • This is a time for the Youth to gather together and discuss their week, pray for one another, and draw closer to one another. We typically discuss the same scripture that Pastor Chris uses for his sermon.


  • Sunday School - Sundays at 9:00am (prior to Worship service)
  • During this time, the youth are able to catch up and talk about the world of God in a different setting.
